Forty years, one unforgettable night. Join Vivienne Laurent high above Manhattan for a black-tie gala that carries us straight through to midnight — and into the new year.

“At the stroke of twelve, we toast forty years and a brand-new year — in the same breath, in the same room.”
Countdown to midnight is a separate matter entirely — arrive by 8, stay for the clock striking twelve.
Dear friends,
Forty is a milestone worth doing properly — so we’re doing it thirty floors above the city, in black tie, with the skyline lit up below us. There will be a champagne tower, a jazz trio, and just enough sparkle to remember it by.
And because I refuse to celebrate two things on two separate nights, we’re folding my birthday into New Year’s Eve itself — one gala, one countdown, one clock striking twelve for both of us. Come toast the year out with me.
With love and good champagne,Vivienne
Coupe glasses stacked tier upon tier at the centre of the room — gold champagne cascading from the top, catching the skyline light, poured for every guest in turn as the clock ticks toward twelve.
Arriving later is welcome, too — the skyline, the tower, and Vivienne will still be here for the clock striking twelve. Just find us on the terrace before midnight, coupe in hand.

Black tie is the standing rule for the evening — midnight blue also welcome.
Floor-length gowns in black, champagne gold, ivory, or midnight blue. Beading and sequins are warmly encouraged — this is the room to catch the light.
A black or midnight-blue dinner jacket, black tie, and a crisp white shirt. Gold or black-enamel studs are a nice touch.

Your reply is on its way to Vivienne. We can’t wait to toast the year out with you.
Truly — being there for the countdown is the only gift on the list. Should you wish to give something more, a contribution toward a long-overdue trip to the Amalfi Coast would be lovingly received.
