“Some places you visit. Others, you come home to.” Today, the caldera gathers us all under one sky.
Dear family and friends,
It began on a ferry deck, both of us leaning on the same rail to watch Ios disappear behind us — Nikos explaining, badly, why the wind on a Cycladic crossing is always from the wrong direction. Elena pretended not to already know the answer, just to keep him talking.
Two summers later, on a terrace above the caldera at the very last light of the day, Nikos asked. Elena said yes before he finished the sentence. Now we want you there at the edge of that same sea, for the loudest, warmest day of our lives.

Our ceremony is a civil one, held at golden hour on the cliff’s edge — but we’re weaving in a few details from Nikos’s family, in their honour.
Santorini is an island — getting here is part of the trip. A few notes so your journey is as easy as ours will be.
Santorini (JTR) has direct and connecting flights from Athens and major European hubs; the airport is a 25-minute drive from Oia.
High-speed ferries run from Athens (Piraeus) in about 5 hours — a scenic, unhurried way to arrive, weather permitting.
We recommend arriving by Thursday 3 June to settle in before the celebration — full stay details are on our travel page, sent with your invitation.
Resort Elegant — linen and light fabrics, low heels advised for cobblestone lanes.
Flowing linen or silk in whitewash, sand, or Aegean blue — a hint of bougainvillea magenta is always welcome. Low block heels or sandals for the stone lanes.
Linen shirt and light trousers, or a suit in navy or stone — no tie required. Comfortable soles; the terrace is beautiful but uneven.
