Three years of casebooks, cold calls, and midnight footnotes come to a close this May. Join us for dinner in Beacon Hill as Amelia Chen becomes, officially, Amelia Chen, J.D. — and we thank the people who cheered her here.

Dear friends,
When Amelia was nine, she argued — successfully, with exhibits — for a later bedtime. We should have known then. Three years ago she left Seattle for law school with two suitcases and a color-coded plan, and we watched from across the country as that plan survived cold calls, casebooks, journal deadlines, and one very long winter of appellate briefs.
This May she finishes what she started — Juris Doctor, summa cum laude — and before she reports to chambers this fall, we are gathering everyone who cheered her here. Come to dinner. Let us pour you something cold and tell you stories she will almost certainly object to.

Cocktail attire, in a cool palette — dinner runs long and the toasts run longer; dress for candlelight.
A cocktail dress or tailored separates in silver, dove grey, slate, or ink. The room is candlelit and the champagne is cold.
A suit in charcoal, slate, or midnight — tie optional, a pocket square never hurts.
