Terms of Service

Welcome to Life Invites. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Life Invites (“Life Invites,” “we,” “us”), the operator of lifeinvites.com. By purchasing, publishing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1What we provide

Life Invites sells premium digital invitations. A purchase unlocks a design template in our online studio, where you personalize it — words, colours, photos, films, and music depending on your tier — and publish it as a web page your guests can visit. Some tiers additionally include design work produced for you by our AI studio or our team, built from the brief you provide after purchase. Guests can respond through the invitation’s RSVP form, and you can view and export those responses from the studio.

2Previews, purchases, and payment

Every template can be viewed in full, exactly as your guests would see it, before you buy. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars at checkout and may change over time; applicable taxes may be added. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. Your purchase is a license to use the template and studio for your event; it is not a transfer of ownership of the underlying design.

3All sales are final

4Hosting, renewal, and expiry

Publishing places your invitation at an address we host for you (for example your-names.lifeinvites.com or www.lifeinvites.com/i/your-names). Hosting for the first 90 days is included with your purchase. After that, you may keep the page live for $15 per month; if you choose not to, the address shows a notice instead of the invitation. You can start or stop the monthly hosting at any time — stopping ends future charges, and your page stays live through the period already paid. We may retain your published content for up to 12 months after hosting lapses, so you can bring it back; after that we may delete it.

5Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add to your invitation — names, words, photos, films. You grant us the limited license we need to operate the service: to store, process, and display that content as part of your invitation. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, including the consent of people who appear in your photos and films. Template designs, artwork, and the music we supply remain ours or our licensors’; they are licensed for use within your published invitation and may not be extracted, resold, or redistributed.

6Guest responses

RSVP responses submitted by your guests are collected on your behalf and shown to you in the studio. You are responsible for how you use your guest list outside the service. We handle guest information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7AI-generated design and media

Some tiers include imagery, film, or design work generated with AI from your brief and reference photos. Creative output varies by nature; the included revision process for your tier is how we get it right, and reasonable imperfections in AI-generated media are not a defect. You receive the same license to AI-generated media as to the rest of your invitation. Do not submit reference photos of people without their consent.

8Acceptable use

• No unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or harassing content.
• No malware, scraping, spam, or attempts to probe or disrupt the service.
• No impersonation of any person or organization.

We may remove content or suspend service that violates these rules.

9Service “as is”

We work hard to keep invitations fast and available, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Invites will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11Changes to the service or these Terms

We may improve or change the service, and we may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Life Invites is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
